Lake District

Camping out with brothers from Northumbria ISOC. Keswick
Video Rating: 0 / 5

A fantastic walk including a wild camp around Newlands Valley. The walk, approx 10 miles, started from Little Town. From here we climbed up to Cat Bells for the views of Derwent Water. After Cat Bells we retraced our steps and then climbed up to Maiden Moor before following the ridge to High Spy. After High Spy we descended to Dale Head Tarn where we wild camped within the walled shelter. Up early the next day we saw the sunrise and cleared site before climbing Dale Head where we passed fellow wild campers (still asleep we presumed). After Dale Head we then walked up to Hindscarth and then returned back to Littledale Edge before ascending Robinson. After Robinson we scrambled down to High Snab Bank before returning to the car park located just outside of Little Town. Fantastic weather & clear skies, was it really April? Music by Keane, Biffy Clyro & Pendulum.
