Lake District 2012 - Whinlatter - Ish & JJ

Whinlatter MTB Trail Centre in Lake District, UK. July 2012 with Ish and JJ A great reward weekend in the sun after a weeks worth of camping and working in the rain with High Adeventure (Lakes). Music is not my own! First track: Lucious Life by Patrick Watson. Second track: Sail by Awolnation. All taken with a GoPro Hero camera and edited together on Adobe Premier Pro. Enjoy!

A fantastic two days in the Central Fells of the Lakes. Starting late on Saturday 2 July we walked from Deepdale Bridge to the Priest's Hole, Dove Crag and wild camped. At the cave we met two others with the same intention. Great company. The next day day we set off from the cave to Dove Crag, and then continued on to Hart Crag, Fairfield and St Sunday Crag. From here we partially retraced our steps before descending to Grisedale Tarn and then on to Dollywagon Pike, High Crag, Nethermost Pike and Helvellyn. From Helvellyn we descended via Striding Edge and at the "Hole in the Wall" we took the path to Patterdale before following the road back to Deepdale Bridge. The 1st day was just over 3 miles followed by just over 12 miles the second day. The weather was warm & sunny. Music by Newton Faulkner, Adam Speight (our cave companion) & James Morrison.
